About Us
Jay and Dawna Anderson were born and raised in rural towns and have a strong desire to share their love for horses with you. Growing up in the small Southwestern Kansas town of Dodge City, Jay has the learned history to care for horses as his family did owning, breeding and raising Palomino's.
Their appreciation for equine doesn't stop there, other breeds such as the Tennessee Walking Horse (TWH), the Quarter Horse and the Arabian Horse are just a few they enjoy working with.

Centrally located between Southern Pines and Raleigh, NC as well as the Triad, Pocket Creek Ranch, LLC gives North Carolina equine enthusiasts a more intimate and rural experience with the benefits of being close to major equine events. We are 1 hour from the Triad and 45 minutes from RTP and Southern Pines. PCR is easily accessible to Hwy's 1 and 421 to quickly access equine related events such as the State Fair Grounds in Raleigh and the various shows and competitions in the Sandhills.
​Our Family...
Dawna and Jay moved to North Carolina from Kansas City in 2002 searching for a permanent home to own and board horses. Shortly thereafter Roman joined the family and since has moved to the outskirts of Sanford where they now call home on their 20 acre ranch.
